Olena R. Spradlin, 81
Olena Ruth Spradlin, 81, of Northumberland, Pennsylvania, formerly of League City, Texas and originally a Rubyville, Scioto County, Ohio resident, passed to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. Born May 30, 1934 in Scioto County, She was a daughter to the late Dewey E and Lucy Mae Coffey Blevins. She was a graduate of Clay High School Class of 1952. She retired from GTE Telephone Company and Steinmart Department Store. She is survived by one daughter Rhonda Vignola of Indiana; four sons, Steve Spradlin of Rubyville, Gib Spradlin, Jr. of Pennsylvania, Brad Spradlin of Texas, and Scott Spradlin of Texas; 12 Grandchildren, Shellie, Daphney, Brande, David, Anna, Heather, Audra, Brittany, Hannah, Cristina Olena, Andrew, and Leighanna; 7 Great Grandchildren, Austin, Hunter, Miranda, Noah, Caroline, Averi and Victoria; 2 Great Great Grandchildren, Tucker and Aaliyah, and one brother, Cecil C. Blevins of Illinois. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Elmer Claude Blevins, Lowell Blevins, Andrew Blevins, and Olin Bruce Blevins, and one sister, Chloe Kathleen Blevins. She is also survived by Debbie Blevins who she considered like a sister, Tammy Jones who was like a daughter and mother of her grandchildren, Audra, Hannah and Leighanna, Michelle Koch who was like a daughter and mother of her grandchildren, Heather and Brittany and Cathy Anderko, mother of her grandchildren, Cristina Olena and Andrew. She is survived by numerous family members both maternal and paternal who were very close to her throughout her life, Irene Blevins, Michael Blevins and Mike Spradlin. Vickey Smith who was a very close friend, and many more family and friends to numerous to list. She loved each and every one of us unconditionally.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Bob Davis officiating.
