When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one. Additionally Erwin Dodson Allen offers cremation services. You may choose to do this prior to or after the funeral of a loved one. Alternatively many people will choose a memorial service for the recently departed. The memorial service has elements of a funeral service: an opening greeting, a prayer, a eulogy, the sharing of memories by friends or family, and appropriate music. With a memorial service the urn is often displayed on a table centered at the front of the room. The family often places a large, framed picture of the departed next to the urn.
