Murray “Stony” L. Brooks, 70

Murray “Stony” Lawrence Brooks, 70, of Minford, Ohio formerly of Brazil, IN, passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 at SOMC Hospice. Born October 1, 1945 in Phoenix, Arizona, a son of the late Samuel Lawrence Brooks and Roma Lee (Kay) Zerbe, he was a self-employed truck driver, a Marine Corp veteran, member of VFW, American Legion, Marine Corp League, he was a Mason and a 32nd Degree Mason with the Scottish Rite. He is survived by three daughters, Debbie Butler of Terre Haute, IN, Angie Fort of Brazil, IN, Wendy (Patrick) Brooks Harbaugh of Terre Haute, IN; six grandchildren, Seth Madsen, Wade and Alaina Fort, Morgan and Bryce Butler and Kaylee Harbaugh; one great grandson, Bentley Young; twin brother, Marshall “Rocky” (Marissa) Brooks of Tucson, Arizona; two sisters-in-law, Denise (Sandy) Brooks of Phoenix, AR and Carol (Dusty) Brooks of Scottsdale, AR, and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.
