Lewis C. Sloas, 82
Lewis Cecil Sloas, 82, of Minford, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at SOMC. Born August 10, 1936 in Scioto County, a son of the late John Cecil and Mary Smith Sloas, he was a former employee of Dayton Walther and attended the former Long Run United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Judy Bailey Sloas; one son, Tony Sloas; one daughter, Marcie Fyffe; four grandchildren, Melissa Robinson, Kyle Sloas, Brittney Pickles, Katie Fyffe; nine great grandchildren, and two sisters, Christine Rose and Karen Risner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill Sloas, John Sloas, and one in infancy, and one sister, Sally Carpenter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Burial will be at Harrison-Furnace Cemetery.
