Chester P. Estep, 84

Chester Paul Estep, 84, of Minford, went to his Heavenly Home Monday, October 17, 2016 at his residence. Born December 8, 1931 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Hubert and Dolly (Rapp) Estep. He retired from Martin Marietta in Piketon and was a member of Stockdale Baptist Church were he was a founding member. He is survived by a son Roger (Miranda) Estep; four grandchildren, who were the light of his life, Riley Estep, Ella Estep, Kaylee McGinnis, Ava Estep; three sisters, Helen Barnett, Doris (Dean) Bobst, Peggy Sowards, and several special nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Lucille (Fife) Estep on July 4, 2009; three brothers, Cecil Estep, Kenneth Estep, Chrissie Estep, and a sister Kathryn Burchett.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday. October 22, 2016 at Stockdale Baptist Church with Greg Sowards, Ryan Lawhorn, and Rick Evans officiating. Burial will be at Owl Creek Cemetery in Pike County. Friends may call at the church from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.

    Uncle Chet was a wonderful and caring man. I will never forget all the times he made me laugh. He always put a smile on everyone’s face and made you laugh. He will be truly missed by his family and friends. He is in a better place and reunited with many. I love you Uncle Chet.
