Robert Lee Bloomfield, 85
Robert “Bob” Lee Bloomfield of Wheelersburg, Ohio passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at OSU Hospital in Columbus, OH. He was born July 15, 1933 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the Late Ida Mead and Thomas Bloomfield. Bob had served in the Military – Korean War. He was a truck driver for more than 60 years at Reinhart, Putnam, and his last 15 years with Eric Riley of Mobile Production until age 82-years-old when he decided to retire his profession. He loved working and was proud of his profession. He is proceeded in death by his first wife, Betty Lou Binion Bloomfield, a son, Michael Dean Bloomfield, and a grandson, Derek Bloomfield. Bob was very active in his church and of strong faith. Survived by his wife, Carolyn Click Nevison Bloomfield of 32 years, his family, Marsha Nevison Justice (Kenny), John Thomas Nevison, Jr. (Sheila), Ronald Lee Bloomfield (Liz), Robert Scott Bloomfield, Kevin Thomas Bloomfield, a special daughter-in-law, Linette Bloomfield Thaxton, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The light and joy of his life was Kendra Lena Justice and Zachary Thomas Justice, as well as, his two dogs, Bear and Ariel. Special friends: Bill McGowen, Tom and Deloris Selby, Bobby Huff, Jack Howard, and Richard Stiles.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and services at 12:30 p.m. at Unity Full Gospel Fellowship in New Boston, Ohio with Richard Stiles and Jack Howard officiating the service.
