Donna S. Deemer, 71

Donna Sue Deemer, 71, of Minford passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at her residence. Born May 25, 1944 a daughter of the late Theodore Chester and Gladys Oleda (Spradlin) Tussey, she was a 1962 graduate of East High School, attended Twin Valley Baptist Church, and was a member of the Lucasville Order of the Eastern Star 495. She is survived by her husband, Roy E. Deemer whom she married on May 11, 1963; three nieces, Phoebe Tussey (Norm Vance) of California, Kim (Ken) Wright of Portsmouth, Sheri (Gary) Skaggs of Florida; five great nieces and nephews, Emma, Anna, Kaleana, Kody, Kaleb; nieces and nephews, Gayle McGuffey, Pat McCormick; other great nieces and nephews, Marina , Madison, Meagan, Macenzie, and Andrew, and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Rev. James Tussey.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home with Pastor Don Noel and John King officiating. Burial will be at Bailey Chapel Cemetery in Wakefield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.     We are praying for God’s arms to wrap around you and give you comfort in knowing that Donna is with God and some day we will all be untied again.
