Alma R. Hale, 79
Alma Ruth Hale, 79, of Wheelersburg passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 in Florida. Born June 28, 1938 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Archie E. and Mary Alice (Noxsel) Richard, she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, an EMT for Clay Squad 11, and attended Rubyville Community Church and New Testament Baptist Church in Floral City, FL. She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Hale, Jr.; two sons, Kevin (Judy) Sorensen of Keading, Kansas, Scott (Tammy) Hale of Wheelersburg; a granddaughter, Katelyn Hale; a brother, Howard (Arlene) Richard of Rubyville; two sisters, Mary Broughton of Columbus and Nancy (Jim) Lynd of Twin Valley, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Ann Hale, and five brothers, Bryce Richard, Russell Richard, David Richard, Charles Richard, and Robert Richard.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2018 at Rubyville Community Church in Rubyville with Pastor Calvin Ray Evans and Pastor Brian Baer officiating. Burial will be at Universal Cemetery in Rubyville. Friends may call at the church from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.
