Alma Coriell, 98
An amazing woman went to heaven today to be with her husband, Austin Coriell who died December 27, 2010 and her infant son, Kenneth Ray who died December 2, 1947. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Pam Coriell, three grandchildren, Jason (Kristine) Coriell, Jodi (Aaron) Kallner, and Kristin (Jamie) Riley. She was proud of her great grandchildren enjoying reading their names in the newspaper for their academic and sports accomplishments. Aurie, Alyssa, and Annie Coriell, Abbie, Ellie, and Grant Kallner, and Kendall Riley. She taught elementary school in the Minford District for 35 years. We never met a former student of hers who did not have fond memories of their time with her. She was a member of Sunshine Church of Christ. She always concerned about the welfare of her Christian brothers and sisters. We will all miss her as we look forward to joining her and the rest of the family some day. Thank you to all who visited, sent cards, or brought food. Special thanks to her wonderful caregivers, Maria and Tabitha.
Funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to SOMC Hospice in Alma’s honor. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.

Remembering you all in thought and prayer.
I had Alma for my 3rd and 4th grades at Sunshine Elementary in the late 1950’s. I remember her as one of my favorites. I last talked with her at the 2014 Minford Alumni banquet.. I’m sure she will be missed. Wonderful teacher and lady.
